Family Lifestyle Session

I was so excited (I feel like I use that word a lot, but truly, I was stoked!) when Heather told me they were headed back to Maui. I was partly nervous as our December was crazy rainy and I wanted it to be perfect for them.

It was an overcast morning, but the rain stayed away and I actually really loved the light. It fit in perfect with their chill vibe. It’s been such an honor to photograph them over the years on their visits to Maui and see the kids growing. Their personalities are awesome and always keep me on my toes.

This time I approached the session with a more lifestyle approach – some posed stuff, but lots of fun things to keep the kids moving and laughing. This is definitely my favorite approach to family photography!
