Maui Beach Wedding

There’s always anticipation in the air when it’s the first wedding of the year. It seems that the first wedding always stays with you, and I am so happy that the first wedding of 2017 was Norman and Matthew’s.

Over two years ago, they met in Chicago – one lived in the city and one in the suburbs. They traveled on weekends to see each other and made it work. It wasn’t until Norman’s birthday celebration in Southern California that they fell in love with the beach life and moved across the country. They love being at the beach and enjoying sunsets, so when they planned a trip out to Maui for Matt’s birthday, they decided it would be the perfect place to marry surrounded by their best friends.

With a lovely ceremony by Joe Miles and an incredible pastel sunset, Norman and Matthew married on my favorite beach. Congratulations you two! xoxo
