Here at Mariah Milan Photographers we have an exclusive list of our favorite places to eat on Maui. I’m not talking about just the tourist traps you see advertised everywhere. I’m talking about the REAL local spots where you’ll find us eating.
Tucked away in a Kahului strip mall is Tin Roof Maui owned by husband and wife Chef Sheldon and Janice Simeon (seriously, the nicest people!). Name sound familiar? Well not to brag or anything, but this Hawaii chef was on Top Chef and has appeared all over tv and youtube.
This spot is jam-packed every day, and they sell out of specials quickly, so make sure you get in line quickly or order online via their service called “Mo Fast Pass” (ps – that’s our favorite way to order).
Tin Roof is famous for its chicken sandwich, AKA the Chicken Sando. That’s right, I’m saying it…. this is FAR superior to any fast-food chicken sandwich in existence. Everything is made from scratch, including the buns.
If you’re lucky enough to visit on a day they have their fish sando, don’t hesitate. It’s Mariah’s favorite fish sandwich on the planet and she’s been known to reschedule meetings in order to get hers before closing time at 2pm.
Make sure to stop at least once at Tin Roof on Maui – and if you see Mariah make sure you say HELLO! It’s definitely where to eat on Maui if you’re looking for lunch.
Mariah’s Favorites: Fish Sando, Daily Fish Specials, Dry Mein, Beet Box, Ulu Mac Salad, Dime Bag
Open from 10am-2pm Monday-Saturday at 360 Papa Place (access on Dairy Rd) in Kahului, HI 96732.
