Rainy Honeymoon – Embrace it!

Let’s face it, the thought of a rainy photo shoot doesn’t sound appealing. We were on the brink of two hurricane’s possibly hitting Maui, but Stephanie and Jon are returning clients, super fun, celebrating their honeymoon… so we thought, “Why not?” — and I’m so glad we did. There’s nobody I’d rather photograph on a rainy afternoon.

It started out sunny and gorgeous, but you can see the dark clouds approaching…

And then it started raining. It fogged my lens, illuminated their skin, and was positively magical.

When it was really pouring, we hid under the trees – but then decided just to go for it in the open rain…
