Maui Wedding Photographer – Allie + Matt

I must say… I really adored this wedding. I just met Allie and Matt and from those first couple of minutes I knew that these two were something special. The way that he looked at her… the way that she looked at him. Their sweet ceremony under the shade with the blue Pacific sparkling under the mid-morning sun was the perfect way to start their marriage.

After the ceremony, we headed for the beach while sunbathers clapped and waved. Allie and Matt were down for whatever I asked of them. Allie has a keen way of looking at the camera. Girl… you should totally model. We then headed for the North end of the beach for one of my favorite garden gates and the dramatic rocks. Talk about a beautiful morning to get married on Maui – it was gorgeous! Congratulations Allie and Matt!

** personal note – Minutes before Allie and Matt arrived at the beach, I was sitting on the rock wall waiting for their arrival and I checked my email really quick. I got an email that a friend of mine had just passed away. I was overcome with emotion and sadness. Yet here I was, waiting for my couple to arrive. I let out some sniffles and put my emotions away. Matt and Allie… While you two didn’t know what I was going through on the inside, you made my day better. I truly appreciate it.
