Maui Senior Photography

I so enjoyed meeting Matthew and his family. On vacation from Oregon, they figured that Maui was a really unique option to take Matthew’s senior photos. Accompanied by his parents, sister, and his best friend, we headed to Ironwood for some amazing afternoon light. It has just been storming and the surf had brought in lots of sticks and debris, but the salt that still loomed in the air gave a soft diffusion to the light.

Matthew is a trooper – despite a football injury that occurred just before the vacation, he walked all over the beach and the rocks. We talked about his desire to go to college for physical therapy and all the bright things he wants to do with his future. As I photographed him, I noticed his parents beaming proudly. What a good son they’ve raised!

Happy Senior Year Matthew! It was wonderful to meet you – thank you for trekking all over Ironwood!
