Maui Engagement Photographer

Oh love… it is so special and so inspiring. Zainab and Mike met and fell in love in the Caribbean. They both share a love of the island life, the ocean, the mountains – and so they decided on a trip to Maui. Newly engaged, this was the perfect place for their Maui engagement session.

We went back and forth on locations a few times. When they arrived, Zainab emailed me that they were right on Oneloa Bay (also called Ironwood Beach) and it was spectacular. I adore this beach. I love it because it is so rugged, so untouched, and basically as rustic old Hawaii as you can get. This particular afternoon was no exception. The aqua waves crashed into the lava cliffs, the sun cast a golden glow, the beach was practically empty.

Zainab and Mike were so much fun. Up for all ideas, including cliff climbing, we got some really, really amazing images. I loved the touch of orange in Zainab’s necklace, the way her skirt matched the color of the ocean, and did you notice her perfect skin? It was adorable watching Mike help her balance on the rocks in those rockin’ heels too. 🙂
