Needless to say, things have been quite crazy in my house lately. I never realized quite how much I depended on Tues/Thurs preschool time. If you don’t know, my husband works overnights so I am literally with the kids 24/7. It’s been quite a task keeping everyone entertained and trying to manage my business. And then I also have some exciting news… I am setting up a home studio. Here’s the state of my house right now.

We ripped out a faux fireplace that was really quite a hazard (limestone rocks + 4 year old + 21 month old = danger!). The drywall will be  getting patched up, and then the carpet is coming out!! Beautiful wood floors are going in and picture ledges are going up. What does this mean? The living room will be transformed and I will be able to breathe a huge sigh of relief and contentment. Starting in the fall, I will be offering studio sessions for newborns and maternity. Very exciting!!

Aside from the crazy house renovations and being a constant entertainer for the kidlets, I have been in album heaven. The UPS man has brought me some gorgeous albums so I had to photograph them before they went off to their forever homes to be enjoyed!
