Do you ever feel that you are just one person, and there’s no possible way you could have a positive effect on the world?
The Power of One Project was created by a dear friend, Lory, in Arizona. She reached out to me and explained the project, which benefits children. This project shows that if we each donate just $1 and then reach out to 10 friends to donate $1 each, and then they reach out to 10 friends each (you see where this is going, right?).
This is a great way to show our children that one person really does matter and CAN make a difference in helping out other children. The proceeds collected from the Power of One Project go to Assistance League® of Phoenix, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, that has been helping children in need for over 50 years, will be providing each child with the following items: Brand new school clothing that consists of: (3) polo shirts, (2) bottoms (pants, shorts, skorts), (6) pairs of underwear, (6) pairs of socks, (1) Belt, (1) sweatshirt, (1) pair of athletic shoes, (1) hygiene kit (full size: shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush), (1) book of their choice, (1) backpack filled with school supplies. 100% of all funding goes directly towards supplies for the children! I have made my $1 donation and reaching out to my 10 people. I urge you to make your $1 donation – no more, no less – and reach out to 10 more. To make your $1 donation, visit the Power of One Project Here
