This next family is very special for many reasons. When my daughter, Ryenne, first started going to preschool at 2 years old, we would ask her when we picked her up, “Who did you play with?” and the answer was always “Jackson and Bella!”. Over the years we’ve become very good friends with Jackson and his parents. Katie and I were both pregnant at the same time and Hogan is just 3 months younger than my Kai Boy. So of course they have been best buddies since birth.

It has been so wonderful having such an amazing friend. Not just a “Hey, how ya doing?” type friend, but a woman that I can count on and she can count on me. This family is so special and so wonderful. I am sad that I’m not going to be in Austin when they welcome their third little boy into their family. But I know there will be tons and tons of love welcoming him. That little boy chose a wonderful family to join! Love you guys…
