It was the first time the “J” Family visited Maui. Usually they visit Kauai so they decided to give Maui a shot for this trip. It started out a little rough as one of the girls got sick.

But they did get to enjoy the rest of their vacation without anyone being sick and got to eat a lot of shave ice – daughter Chelsea’s favorite was mango and guava – can’t argue with that combo. Sounds delicious!

I was extremely embarrassed when it got time for their sunset shots. I took out my flash and realized I had grabbed the wrong one! I had no batteries in it! Luckily we were at Napili Bay, just down the road from my house, and my husband could run the right flash out to me. Talk about MORTIFIED!
