Maui Family Photographer

There is this time, a moment of time really, that as a parent you treasure. It’s that time when your children think you’re the entire world. That time when they look at you with adoring eyes. That time before they turn into…. teenagers.

Honestly with all the families I meet it’s really special to see the relationship between parent and child, but sometimes I see something extra special and this was one of those sessions. These kiddos…. I asked to show their parents how much they love them, and what I got in return made my heart leap. This is that golden time of childhood – that time when family is everything, when you laugh so hard your hair is in your face, when you hold onto your parents.  I treasure it and it was so special to capture it for this wonderful family from Arizona.

They came to Maui for a swimming competition and it turned into a special family vacation. I was so happy to meet them on Polo Beach for a fun morning session. XOXO
