Maui Family Portraits

Our Maui weather can be so fickle. You just never know what’s going to happen – the weather reports can be waaaay off! It was a very cloudy and windy afternoon in Kapalua when I met up with this family from Michigan. This vacation to Maui was on their bucket list – a trip as a family before the kids officially are off in teenagerland; a time where they could slow down, enjoy the slow island pace, and make family memories.

Since it was overcast we had the entire beach to ourselves and as the sun started to drift for the horizon, the sky looked as if it were on fire. It was an incredibly gorgeous sunset and I’m so glad that these guys were fun and cool with our Maui weather. We were certainly rewarded!
