Shawna and Wyeth at the White Orchid Beach House | Maui Weddings

This beautiful wedding was planned by Patty at White Orchid Wedding, but beautiful bride Shawna also sent me a friend request on Facebook many months ago and I’m so glad that she did. It was such a joy to get to know Shawna and Wyeth via Facebook before the wedding day. It was clear that this day they’d be surrounded by an incredible amount of love. Shawna and Wyeth are so beautiful together (and did I mention that Shawna could be a body double for Cameron Diaz?!?). Their love started with friendship, and Shawna wrote to me that her mom had told her that the best things in life take time. Indeed, their relationship grew and flourished. In 2014 on a trip to Costa Rica, Wyeth took Shawna out to dinner and proposed on the beach. She wasn’t expecting it and it was magical.

The last few months of talking back and forth with Shawna have been wonderful – not just adding another client but rather, another friend. I’m so excited to share these mid-day gorgeous Maui wedding images and say, Congratulations Shawna and Wyeth!!
