Maui Wedding Photographer

Prue and Thadd have such a beautiful story – meeting at camp, they fell in love. But Thadd lived in Ohio and Prue in Australia. Thadd made the move to Australia and they are crazy in love.

Storms rumbled in the north with dark, ominous clouds. We all wondered if the rain would come down to Kaanapali. As Prue prepared in her room, we kept watching the weather. The filtered light through the clouds made for beautiful light in the room. I loved all the details of Prue’s dress and her exquisite hair style. Just before the ceremony, I quickly snapped a hug between mom and daughter (see it below) – I think it’s one of my favorites from the day.

The entire event took place at the Royal Lahaina Resort and I was thrilled to have been chosen as their Maui wedding photographer.  Prue and Thadd’s family were also wonderful and so much fun. The Maui rainbows that made an appearance made the day even better.
