Maui Wedding Proposal

Over the years I have gotten the honor to help/plan/photograph so many proposals that I thought it was high time that I offered a special Maui Wedding Proposal Package through my other company, Maile Maui Weddings. We arranged this proposal for friends of ours, Kalen and Monet, and she has NO IDEA.

Kalen actually needed this to happen on a specific day and I was already booked so my hubby Peter stepped up to the plate and captured this for me. Lucky thing he’s been fully trained!

Kalen and Monet have been together for two and a half years and Kalen knew from early on that she was the one for him. He wanted to make sure he could get her a beautiful ring and talk to her family before arranging the romantic proposal in Poli Poli. What started as a Holiday card photo shoot changed quickly when Peter had Monet turn away from the camera “to capture the view” while Kalen got down on one knee right behind her. When she turned, she saw the ring. While I was editing the images, I fell in love with the one where they are hugging and she’s so happy but Kalen is still holding the ring! Ah so cute!
