As I drove down to Makena I noticed a big, dark rain cloud hovering over Makena. I thought to myself, “Oh nice! A little pre-wedding blessing of rain!” and the closer I got, the heavier the rain fell. As the bride and groom were preparing for the wedding, everyone had their fingers crossed that the downpour would move on. And sure thing – it did. The rain not only moved on, but gave us such incredible light to work with for Trisha and Zach’s beautiful oceanside ceremony at the White Orchid Beach House.

Surrounded by family and friends, they exchanged personal vows and had a beautiful ceremony officiated by Rev. Keli’i Brown with a serenade by a Maui guitarist.

To say the sunset was spectacular would be an understatement. It was absolutely incredible and Trisha and Zach were total naturals in front of the camera. Congratulations you two. I am so glad that it turned into such an incredible evening!
