As a mom I understand what it’s like to never be in the family photos, and as a photographer it’s amplified because most moms are the ones behind the camera. I was thrilled to trade sessions with Northern California Photographer, Katie Ellis . Maui is a very special place for her family and with the addition of her beautiful daughter, it was the perfect opportunity to get a family photo with Katie herself in it!

Kanaha is one of my favorite locations – while it’s a little while away from the resort areas, it is so perfect for a variety of backdrops and gorgeous views!
