As I headed toward DT Fleming Beach, big, fat raindrops started falling on the windshield. I insisted on leaving early – it’s not every day I am photographing a family of 33. To my surprise, half the group was already there and waiting for my instructions on how to handle the rain. We headed for Wahikuli Beach in Lahaina, rain free. Since they were so organized, we started the session on time! I have never seen a group this large so organized. Kudos to you all!

I have also never fit this many people into a 30 minute session. This was a first for me and I’m glad it was with this group. You can see the love that is shared. This trip was years in the making – so many schedules shifted so everyone could be together. It was such a privilege to be a part of it!
