As Maui family photographers, sometimes we have to be willing to improvise and get creative in order to get the perfect session. The G Family were hoping to make it to Makena Cove where they married 13 years ago, however, due to extremely high tides we had to improvise. We moved the session to Makena Surf next door. Flexibility is key when it comes to locations for photo shoots.

documenting all the things that make kids who they are. It’s all fun for us – learning who each child is, what they love, what they’re passionate about, and what makes them laugh. Laughing is absolutely our favorite thing as Maui family photographers.

Tropical Prints & Solids for Outfits

We loved the mix of solids and tropical prints for their outfits. Keeping solids in the mix is always a great idea when working with prints. A sweet tropical dress, a nice white polo shirt, a Hawaiian shirt for dad, and a stunning white dress for mom are always in style!

The G Family met us for a sunset Popular Session. We spent the hour laughing, playing, and documenting their Maui vacation right into a beautiful pastel sunset.
