Maui Engagement Session Photography

I was so excited to photograph this engagement session because Heather and Jared are getting married later this year and I always love when we get to do an engagement session beforehand. But even more so because Heather is a nurse at Maui Memorial Medical Center and she made sure to come check on me and Kai when we were their for his surgery. It was super sweet of her to do that, especially because I was in full ‘mom mode’ and she is just the sweetest thing!

I love that they chose Iao Valley for their engagement session since they’ll be married by the beach later this year. Iao Valley always gives such beautiful cloud-covered light and greenery that is just spectacular. We walked all through the Kepaniwai Heritage Gardens and near the Iao Needle. We braved the mosquitoes! We didn’t leave unscathed though…
