Maui Wedding Photographer

The afternoon began with some light raindrops falling, blessing Kelly and Greg’s wedding day. As everyone arrived for the wedding, I knew this was going to be a special one. This family is one great bunch – laughing, smiling, and so full of joy. It was wonderful to be a part of it. We started out in the parking lot (I know… we even have pretty parking lots on Maui!) and then headed for the Makena Surf Beach.

The ceremony began late, but when it did, it was special. Rev. Laki Kaahumanu presided over this very special ceremony. The sun decided to leave us without anything special and the beach grew dark. But since we started late, we decided to hang out for a bit and I’m so glad we did. Though the sun was gone, it gave us some beautiful color at the end – a perfect finish to this beautiful couple’s wedding day.
