Maui Vow Renewal

There is something very special about vow renewals. I love doing them because couples have so many stories to share and such love for each other. This vow renewal was particularly touching and sweet. Karen and Charles were surrounded by their children who watched with tear filled eyes while they renewed their commitment to each other on the shores of 505 Front Street in Lahaina.

The ceremony was held by Rev. Laki Kaahumanu and let me tell you… there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd (including me and Laki!). One of my favorite moments was when Laki was singing a love song and everyone was dancing on the beach together. The love in the air was palpable. It was truly a moment to behold.
