Oh Hana. When thinking of Hana, visions of untouched land, tropical rainforest, the kindest people, picking mangoes, and relaxation come to mind. When Makella called me asking about a Hana wedding, I was so excited – the more we talked, the more excited I got. Her vision for a beautiful wedding in Hana came to fruition on a gorgeous afternoon in June.

The beautiful Travaasa Hana served as the getting ready point and from there we headed to Waianapanapa park and out onto the cliff. Surrounded by their closest loved ones, Makella and Storm exchanged beautiful vows (and tears of joy) and then walked off as husband and wife (yes… really had to tell them STOP! Now come back!).

The rugged Hana coastline served as an incredible backdrop for these two lovebirds. As luck would have it, Maui is now their home and they are discovering all this amazing island has to offer as they start out in married life together. You know it’s love when they’ll climb cliffs, enter a cave, laugh at each other, and have a blast doing it all.
