They met in 2013 and dated, but ultimately, Lee needed some time to focus on herself. A year later, she reached out to Jung, but he left her hanging. But wait… their story isn’t over. Serendipity must have taken over because a week later they bumped into each other at a concert and Lee woo’d Jung back into her life.

Wedding Day Preparation

Mariah met Lee at her condo and Peter headed to see Jung to take him to the first look location. MeiLi Autumn Beauty had a glowing Lee ready for some preparation images.

First Look at Po’olenalena Beach

One of our favorite things is a first look. It is such an incredible way for the couple to have a private moment together. Lee and Jung’s first look was HILARIOUS. Jung decided to wear a very loud Hawaiian shirt (which was killer, by the way) and the moment I got out of the car with Lee, she said, “Oh no! Not THAT shirt!” Jung’s face as he saw Lee for the first time all dressed up was priceless.

Wedding Portraits

We wanted Lee and Jung to be themselves for their wedding photos – No agenda for posing them – just wanted to capture who they are! And they busted out a secret handshake and just made capturing them an absolute blast.

Wedding Time

We then headed off to Gannons for a beautiful ceremony officiated by their dear friend Mamei on one of the hottest days of the year (literally). The ceremony had moments of laughter, moments we were all near tears, and ended in an awesome gift of a Hawaiian Airlines airplane model from Mamei.

Party Time at Gannons

With gorgeous decor that told a story of their relationship on every table and loving touches everywhere (thank you for the killer day of coordination Maui Love Weddings!), Lee and Jung entered into the Gannons main dinging room to their friends and family, a beautiful dinner, and a crazy awesome dance party led by DJ Teddy.

Lee and Jung, it was an absolute pleasure to be present for your wedding celebration. All the planning, the talks, and then finally meeting you two in person was just … well… awesome. xoxo
