Is it a boy or a girl?

When Maile Maui Weddings planner Fawn told me she was expecting I was SO EXCITED. Fawn is such an incredible person and an amazing friend and I am so thrilled that our ideas together formed Maile Maui (my wedding company). I remember the bit of hesitation in her voice when she told me the news and I swear I had to hold back a giant leap at her into a hug that was probably too tight (have to practice some restraint).

When Fawn asked if we could do something fun for the gender reveal I was firstly completely honored to be asked, and secondly very excited. The session was casual and fun at my house in Wailuku with my kids involved (they love Aunty Fawn and Uncle Kai). Peter and I got to peek into the envelope first and we could barely contain ourselves. We handed over the set of balloons knowing it was blue/green while we anticipated Fawn and Kai finding out. With a pin they popped the balloons and found out… they’re having a boy!!!
