Maui Wedding Photographer

It was an absolutely spectacular afternoon at Maluaka Beach in Makena for Erin and Shane’s Maui wedding. Often when there are clouds overhead, clients are weary, but internally I’m doing a happy dance as I have a giant softbox making everyone’s skin look perfect. And the light… oh my goodness the light was beautiful.

The ceremony officiated by Ernest Pua’a was beautiful and featured a special song for Erin and Shane. It was such a special moment to see them exchange vows with such open hearts.

After the ceremony I had them both to myself for a spectacular sunset. They were up for whatever and even climbed some rocks for me – awesome couple that they are. Erin’s dress is vintage – it was her Grandmothers and the lace was said to have been a table cloth beforehand. It’s always so special to see these kinds of dresses and hear their stories – makes it even more special.
