I tell ya, Social Media is quite amazing.
Not only do I blog about my business, but I also Instagram and tweet many things in my daily life and that includes my passion about achieving health. Here I am 75 pounds lighter than I was 5 years ago and I have really enjoyed trying many things to keep me on this path. One of those things has been CrossFit. Fellow CrossFitter Diana loves Maui and also does CrossFit in California and we started following each other. It has been pretty cool to follow along on her adventures in California while she follows me in my adventures here.
We decided that on her next visit to Maui we had to get together for a session and I am so glad we did. She is such a sweetheart and so thoughtful. She brought me all kinds of goodies from World Market and Trader Joes. Those kinds of things seem so trivial, but since we don’t have them here on Maui it’s a super fun treat. It’s also very refreshing for me to shoot in an area that I don’t normally get to visit – Honolua Forest – and push my camera to limits that I might not normally try. Many of these were at ISO 6000 pushing my D3 to really fun points (camera nerd here!).
Diana, it was really great to finally meet you! Thank you for the fun afternoon in the forest and for all the goodies you brought my ohana!
