Years ago in what seems like another lifetime, I worked at the Ritz-Carlton in Kapalua. Daniel was a young valet and the brother of a friend. Like any other hotel, when there was down time we’d all talk story. Daniel was young, and maybe a little cocky too (I can say that, cause we’re friends, right?).

Anyway, thanks to the wonderful people connecter that is Facebook, Daniel and I got back in touch and I got to meet his gorgeous family. He’s a little older, a lot wiser, and such a fantastic dad to his two kiddos. His beautiful girlfriend is such a loving mommy and it was beautiful to watch her love on their new baby girl.
